Dani California

Here is the Red Hot Chili Peppers new single called Dani California. An alright song from them that shows some real potential for their new album. In the video they recreate some of the great bands from the past. See how many you can pick out.

405 - The Movie

I was shown this video today and wanted to share it with those who have not yet seen it. I won't give much away in the description here but just want to recommend that you watch the video as they did a really good job on it.

Top Gear Miata MX-5 vs a Greyhound Dog

Hammond of Top Gear races the new MX-5 Miata and Greyhound Dog on the Dog's track.

Can a Greyhound beat a car? The car in this instance being the new Mazda MX5 and the greyhound being a £25,000 animal called 'Mamma Tina'. The dog has a top speed of some 45 miles an hour and can get there in just six strides, which is simply remarkable. The MX5, is also remarkable, offering great value for money, fantastic handling and brilliant fun.

No matter how good the MX5 is though, it couldn't beat the dog which had fire in its belly and far better grip on the corners. That's not to say the MX5 isn't superb though. Because it is. And let's face it, you can't ride a greyhound to work in the mornings.

Final Destination 2 - Part 1

Here is part 1 of the full length motion picture Final Destination 2. The first Final Destination was quite a good and relatively original movie at the time. I have not yet seen this movie in its entirety so I'll hold back judgement.

Saw 2 is now offline. If you would like to see this full movie, watch it now. The second part will be posted shortly.

UFO - The Best Evidence Ever

UFO - The Best Evidence Ever. This was a TV show that aired on the FX network a few years ago and purports to feature the most conclusive evidence ever of the existence of UFO's. I like though that they opened up the show with a slide saying that there are other interpretations of the video evidence. Kind of ties in with the aviation theme.

Goodnight Mr Bean

Mr Bean was a character created by the funny Rowan Atkinson. This is a complete episode of the Mr Bean show that would have aired during the early 90's. There was a minor Mr. Bean phase in many countries of the World and in fact a movie was created. It's fun watching them after all these years. This is the full episode of Goodnight Mr. Bean on Google Video.

Man skydives with turbine engines

Now this takes balls to do. Imagine straping some small turbines to your legs, jumping from a hot air balloon, and waiting to see what will happen and if the thrust will be too much. This young guy set out to answer that very question and here are the results of skydiving with turbines on your legs.

SNL - Star Wars Screen Test

Here's a funny sketch from SNL featuring Kevin Spacey as Christopher Walken auditioning for the role of Han Solo in Star Wars. Watch this now as NBC and SNL seem to be taking down all of the content on sites other than NBC.com.

Alien Autopsy

Remember this little video from a few years ago? This is the footage that was shown on Fox's show called Alien Autopsy. It was later featured in a show debunking the video with analysis of all of the inconsistencies between then and now. All of this just furthered the thoughts of some that this was in fact a coverup.

Here is the footage of the Alien Autopsy.

Piano Playing with Your Balls

Nah, the title is not exactly what this video is about, do you think Google would let something like that thorugh? This is a juggler(?) who plays the piano with his balls. I've seen this clip before on TV and it really is quite impressive.

Enjoy.

Bam Margera Vs. His Dad

This clip and the fireworks in the car are two of my favorite moments from Bam Margera from his time on Jackass. Phil (his dad) seems to always take a beating from the hands of his son. I think it's really funny stuff as Phil has absolutely no clue why Bam is doing it to him.

Enjoy a little Jackass on a Friday.

Lies In The Textbooks

What utter BS this is. It's entertaining to watch but also kind of sad that he actually believes what he is spouting about evolution. He's not the only one though, just one of the most prominent. Look up Kent Hovind for more information if you'd like.

Press Your Luck

In 1984 an Ohio man put together an astounding run on the television game show program Press Your Luck. He did so by memorizing the sequences by which the various prize squares lit up on the game board, allowing him to time his button presses to coincide with the lights' stopping on the most advantageous squares. By hitting 35 such squares in a row, he was able to accumulate the largest win in the history of that show, and he did it all in under an hour. When the effort became too fatiguing, he passed his remaining spins to another contestant rather than risk losing his accumulated winnings to a mistimed press of the plunger.

Robot Wrestling

Will this be the next big television event? It seems to be already in Japan. The fact that they have robot wrestling really demonstrates how advanced their robotic technology over there is compared to North America's. The robot kicking butt is called OmniZero.2.

Kai Tak International Airport

From airvids:

Hong Kong’s Kai Tak International Airport (now closed) was legendary for its approach procedure, which was offset 90 ... all » degrees from the runway heading. Pilots of even the largest jumbo jets had to make a tight turn at low altitude just seconds before touching down. Here, a Korean Airlines 747 makes what, believe it or not, is a typical approach into this airport.

The Truth about Sushi and Japanese Restaurants

This is a pretty funny bit as I am a fan of Japanese food.

A conversation of two Japanese people, one whom has returned from a trip from Australia and explains their global practical joke. What a bunch of Sushis indeed!
